My Background
When I was younger I really didn't have much of an artistic interest. I feel that I didn't have the talent for it. However, when I was in the military I got a TBI - Traumatic Brain Injury. A neurologist suggested I try art again, and discovered that I can now not only paint, but draw and make flags out of wood!

I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, charcoals, watercolors, pastels, and wood. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

I enjoy enjoy sticking to my patriotic roots. My service in the US Navy and US Army have sparked a sense of patriotism I don't ever want to loose. My love of this country is shown through many of my paintings or flags.
